STRENGTHS -         It is a natural oasis located 5 km west of the city of Ica. -         One of the main attractions of the province of Ica. -         It has abundant vegetation composed of palms, eucalyptus and typical huarangos, which helps Huacachina become one of the most colorful and beautiful lagoons of the Peruvian coast. -         Easy access to the attractive.	OPPORTUNITIES -         Interest by the Government to support and develop tourism. -         Declared a national interest as a recovery area. -         Increasing demand for nature destinations. -         Declared a protected zone by the government. -         Growing interest in adventure sports practiced in the area.
WEAKNESSES -         Existence of a messy Tourism. -         The current state is neglected. -         Low quality of tourist services. -         Ground poor tourism and illegal. -         Lack of civic awareness and tourism in the town of Ica. -  The authorities do not have a strong commitment to preserve the attractive.	THREATS -         Exploitation of the appeal. -         Insecurity and increased common crime. -     Pollution of the waters of the lagoon. -         Invasion of the lagoon by the owners of hotels and restaurants. -         Shortage of water. -         Public cleaning is deficient. -         Soil erosion. -         Global Warming.

ACTIONS:

•     Organization of the tourism by creating categories and give priority to some actions.
•     Promote the private inversion.
•     Bring an special orientation to every person in contact with the Tourist.

•      Make a better touristic promotion.
•      It needs the help of the government and touristic institutions.
•      Better use of the touristic resources.
•      Public cleaning and maintenance constantly.
•      Bring informative talks about a new market, how to get it and keep it.

SUGGESTIONS

•    Improve the tourism infrastructure of the Ica City.
•    Enhance tourism services so that incomes from the activity are greated.
•     Increase in the City tourist information.
•      Make known the different touristic routes and get them better.
•     Give a car that indentifies all the tourists for getting tourist benefits.

•     Hire a translator for each group.
•    Train a specific group of the police for help to any tourist.

•    Follow the Development Plan.

•      Elaborate a management plan in the area as hotel and restaurant owners are invading the appeal and as time passes it will generate the absolute deterioration of the lagoon.

•        Elaborate a plan for cleaning as it can generate more damage to the lagoon as well as vegetation that is around them.

•       The number of means to reach the area, facilitates the development of tourism.

•        The population Ica and tourists who come to the area often are not aware of the damage that is suffering the lagoon, so the lagoon generates further destruction.
