Culture of Ica

·   Alcatraz: Gender Dance Celebration. It is an erotic dance festival, couple loose. ·   Festejo:  Erotic  dance and festive type of independent or interdependent partners. It is a dance for couples dropped on the basis of pelvic-ventral movements. ·    Cycling: Dunes, valleys and sun, Ica is an agricultural area per excellence where fields of cotton, butter beans, asparagus, citrus and vineyards alternate with vast deserts of textures and stunning colors. It's a great circuit for recreational cyclists or mountain biking. There are short, simple routes, such as that one which runs along the coastline, and of great difficulty crossing from one end to the desert.

·   Diving: The waters of the Pacific give the department of Ica the privilege to have a unique marine paradise, a show that deserves to be seen directly deep into the depths and mysteries of the underwater world of Paracas. It is a nature reserve located 250 kilometers from Lima, the reserve covers an area of ​​335.000 hectares, which includes Ballesta Islands.

 ·   Paragliding: Pampa de Nazca, where the lines, not accessible takeoffs which is only possible with paramotor fly over or being raised by a system of "towing”. Also, taking off from Cerro Azul, an experienced pilot will be able to get to Cerro Blanco, the largest sand dune on the continent (1.000 mts.).

  ·   Fishing: Fishing enthusiasts find in Ica a paradise for the sport, specially in Paracas. From Flamenco Bay to small beaches or beach Palo Windward Vento find great places to fish species such as cheetahs, trambollos, croaker, flounder, pintadilla and Cherla, among others.
